You Rule Your World

It is Saturday afternoon, you are bored and have no place to go. From your television local news station, you hear an announcement about an impressive exciting show that is being presented at your local theater. It is announced as being "open to the general public" which means that everyone and anyone could attend. You are excited and had taken your time to dress accordingly. After arriving there, as you move inside the theater you see that there is a line towards a booth. From standing in line, you are able to see that an exchange of cash or plastic cards for tickets that is taking place. Immediately, you begin to feel profoundly mortify and embarrassment as well as a need to seek for an exit, because you were truly not invited after all.

This occasion as well as many other situations has made you think or realize that money rules your world. You feel aware that with money: a person can gain a vast amount of access into places, a person can gain or obtain a lot of materials possessions, and a person can live a life without many boundaries, a life without many limitations. Therefore, the amount of money a person possesses will determine how much access will be granted accordingly. You realize that with small amount of cash, a person must live a limited and restricted life of small access. However, that is not at all how the world operates. Money does not rule your world, it is a product; money does not possess the capacity to do such thing, you rule your world. Therefore, as the saying goes, "go make the money but do not let the money make you."

You rule your world is a cause I am advocating. I am promoting for a better world beyond what we know as the “real world” for us all to come and become familiar with the "actual world" where we can gain better knowledge and understanding of the powers we possess to direct our lives, our worlds. Also, I aim to promote the philanthropist (humanitarian) quest towards “world peace” by promoting for: a better informed, a better connective, and a better powerful functioning form of living and ruling our worlds (our lives) as a national entity, and as an international global unit of our human race. I am not an expert about living, nor am I an expert about the human condition. I am an expert when it comes to myself and my life. However, I do possess some secondary school education in the social science field of Anthropology. Also, I do possess personal and social life experiences as viable testimonies to my claims. In addition, I have conducted various research on each topic that I present as relevant resources to support my claims.

I am an individual who believes and lives by my passion that useful and beneficial knowledge regarding life or that which promotes greatness in life should be shared. I admire, appreciate, and love individuals that promotes humanity through education for everyone to gain a greater access to beneficial knowledge and to be able to live fuller lives. I admire such persons as: Oprah Winfrey, Lesane Parish Crooks "Tupac Shakur," Dr. Phil Mcgraw, Mehmet Cengiz Oz "Dr. Oz," Suze Orman, Jon Stewart, Tyra Banks, Russell Simmons, Diana Elaine Owens "Queen Latifah, and countless other philanthropists that shares their lives and their knowledge to promote an advancement of our human race as is my aim. I want to share and to promote an enormous insight about humanity which I had came across through deep research, you rule your world.

The Real World

Information should be used as food for thought, not poison to the soul- Shellie R. Warren

I do not know anyone who can remember themselves as babies, can you? I do however know people who can remember themselves as young adolescents. I always wondered how many adults would choose to relive their adolescent years if given the chance. I have heard adults claiming that all they "wish" for is to relive their adolescent years again. I wonder if they would still want that if they would have to be stripped of all the knowledge that they had obtained throughout the years about “the actual world.” Factual knowledge that had not been taught well to them as adolescents, as mostly all adolescents are fixated with the notion that one day they will come to live in the “real world” where the adults live in freedom instead them living and enjoying their youths fully.

"The Real World" is about the knowledge as adults we have acquired throughout our life stages of development in regards to ourselves and our environment. It displays how we should use our knowledge as tools to better serve our next generation: to enlighten youths about what to expect while growing older so that they are not living in the dark with lack of intelligence, to provide a better form of education for children through a factual source, and not through made up fictional versions of life as an existence of a “real world". Moreover, it is to assist children towards making a smooth transition into adulthood without conflicting views of how life is or how we truly are living so that they can see, know, and have enjoyed the benefits that exists within each developmental life stages plus, may perhaps even come to live better lives beyond how we live.

"The Real World" concluded with the knowledge that gaining independence away from parental guidance and protection, as the real motive to the societal hype of a fabricated and persistent notion of there being a “real world” for there is “no such thing.” We are all living in one location (our planet earth) plus within one reality that includes both the young and the old. Also, living independently brings a person to know personally how much money seems to rule their lives. Therefore, within the "real world"- Money Rules.

One of the definitions of sanity is the ability to tell real from unreal. Soon we'll need a new definition. Alvin Toffler

In this decade, it is hard to know truths or facts from fiction for both interact constantly. Our educational systems, our political systems, and our massive intellectual community of networks that displays "knowledge" to us through communications such as our televisions, computers, and printed papers all are inconsistent with stating or sustaining realism. Daily, we spend our days feeling helpless as we turn on to glimpse or to watch television news of the disasters that is reality, our environments worldwide. In addition, we hear of new laws being created for us all in society, yet we never took any part in its creation or voiced any of our likes or dislikes of it. We wonder what new benefits we might receive or what new limitations and requirements will be demanded of us from these new laws.

The twentieth century seems afflicted by a gigantic... power failure.  Powerlessness and the sense of
powerlessness may be the environmental disease of the age.  ~Russell Baker, New York Times, 1 May
1969

We turn to immediate pleasures to cheer us. we live lives full of demands, inadequate short term pleasures and monthly obligations "dues" added with the obstacles we must prevail in order to "make it" into a better or an easier living conditions. We all know that there is a better world beyond helplessness, and if we do not attempt to change the conditions we live in children as well as young men and women will inherit ( come into ) the same helpless cycle we live without exercising much economical (decision making) power, and political (problem solving) power.

“The world is not dangerous because of those who do harm but because of those who look at
it without doing anything~ Albert Einstein

"The Actual world" is a state of living within rationality (factual thinking) and factual knowledge (truths). It reveals the irrationality that exists within our cultural mentalities and activities. Although ultimate genuine "facts" and genuine "true knowledge" is not within our human capacity. We do not know first hand many things, not even our creator (s). We strive to know as much as possible through rational and evidence existence of things we call "facts" and through reasonable conclusions as "truths" or as "knowledge". When we focus on the truths or the rational side of issues of living, we can spot the irrationality and ideologies that exists. In addition, we can see where improvements can be made. One topic that is repeatedly talked about is the issue of Money, because it is in many aspects, seems to dominate over our lives.

Too many of us look upon Americans  as dollar chasers. This is a cruel libel, even if it is reiterated
thoughtlessly by the Americans themselves.-Albert Einstein

"The Actual World & The Actual World Politics" reveals my findings about: why we live such ignorant and helpless lives? How our society truly operates? What has caused this oppression? What we can do to move our nation and ourselves to live in realism (how things truly are than what we think it is) through reform (change or adjustments of current way of living) to claim back our lives as those of persons living in a freed Democratic nation where we "The People" comes first. Plus, how we "the people" rule. As the Real World displayed the illusions of growing up into adulthood, the Actual World reveals the illusions that exists within our adult world (our adult lives)It reveals how we have unaware and neglected Economical and Political powers. Plus, how we can Claim these powers or rights through proper information because with proper Education and Activism: You Rule

People have become as processed as food.  ~Astrid Alauda

Money can't buy you happiness but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery. Spike Milligan

Of the billionaires I have known, money just brings out the basic traits in them. If they were jerks before they had money, they are simply jerks with a billion dollars. Warren Buffett

Man, know thyself.  Socrates

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'.-Erma Bombeck

World Peace

I used to watch the beauty pageants where many healthy and beautiful women would go on stage to answer a few questions, and one answer that is very typical for them to say is that they all want to promote for “world peace”. I used to think that they were not intelligent beings, "world peace?" What were they talking about? I used to think that it was a very bold and an extreme thing to say, and also an extreme thing to expect. From the stand point of a person seeing the news daily about "how bad the world is" such as how disastrous and dangerous it is from one nation to the other( one group of people towards the another). World peace seemed almost impossible, even to fathom (to think of) but it is not an extreme or an impossible. The more my education expended revealed that I too want to promote for world peace. The more I learn about myself, others and how we live from how we used to live. Where we are now, from where we used to be. Knowledge about history, humanity, economics, psychology, politics, and geography which are all components, parts, of the study of Anthropology. My new expended knowledge made it clear that  world peace is very much realistic in our decade to be able to achieve, if it becomes our aim globally.

We are more aware of each other more so now than we have ever been before. We communicate, exchange, and are easily accessible to each other more than ever before. I can easily talk and view anyone from China, India, Europe, the Americas…anywhere within any time by the use of technology, recent equipments such as our cell phones or through social technological networks as MySpace or facebook. We are an interdependent ( jointly supporting) land masses for food, clothes, equipments…to live or to make our lives easier or better. Is it not time that we learn to lay our defenses down instead of globally creating more nuclear missiles, weapons to kill? Is it not time to start to engage in peaceful living where fear from the actions of the “other” can be of no more, for we no longer can call each other the "other" or  “barbarians”.

We know each other clearly enough to understand that we are all human beings. In this decade, more now than ever before, there is far too much technological advancements that makes it vastly not only probable, but existent ways for us to know about each other than to claim ignorance (lack of knowledge) about each other as a cause to feel threaten enough to call the other "barbarians" and "foreigners" globally. We know that each places have different faces, names and customs (ways). Furthermore, we know that we are all striving to live a good life before dying. We are all deserving of as much greatness, for none of us can call ourselves a God, or sons of Gods as we used to before. We know now that we are mere men (humans). Therefore, as men (human beings) we must act as we are and not place ourselves more or less ( higher or lower) than any “other” persons: white, black, Hispanic, Asian, Native Americans, Indians, Russians or Europeans...we are all wanted, we are all equally as much human as the “other”.

“The Easiest things to do”-Poem

It takes a lot in order to be a good person.

It takes a lot in order to be a good nation.

Anyone can be greedy and selfish.

It is the easiest things to act upon, and to be.

Any healthy man can be part of the production of a child.

Ideally a female giving her body

Resulting in her becoming pregnant.

Yet, only a few mature men can claim to be a father to a child.

Ideally such person would need to claim responsibility.

Would need to work to provide and to give or support mother and/or child.

That is hard, therefore-

There are a lot of children, but not all with fathers.

The females are left to carry the care of the joined produced child alone.

She is left to be called a "single parent".

Love is hard work.

It takes so much to possess it and to sustain it.

It takes great deal of time, and efforts.

Plus, it requires a commitment to make sure it lasts and grows.

Love requires a healthy rational

A reasonable mind, body and spirit.

It requires a lot of compromises

It requires a lot of prioritizing.

It takes a lot in order to be a good person

It takes a lot in order to be a good nation.

It takes a lot in order to love.

I love you.

I seek to be charitable to you.

I seek to be available to you

And make beneficial things available to you.

I seek for the greatness of you as much as for myself.

I do not want you to be hurt or to suffer.

I seek to help you when and if I can.

I place nothing above you.

I place not an object, even if it grants me great access into things.

I place none above you.

I place none above you, which is not more important

Than you and/or your life.

I love you.

I seek to be charitable to you.

I seek to be available to you.

And make beneficial things available to you.

I seek for greatness of you as much as for myself.

It takes a lot in order to be a good person.

It takes a lot in order to be a good nation.

It takes a lot in order to love.

Anyone can be greedy and selfish

It is the easiest things to act upon, and to be.

"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe simply because it has been handed down for many generations. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is written in Holy Scriptures. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of teachers, elders, or wise men. Believe only after careful observation and analysiswhen you find that it agrees with reason, and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all.  Then accept it and live up to it."- -- --Buddha
